Blackberry Cobbler
Ingredients:
Three 6oz packets of fresh blackberries
1 cup of flour
1 cup of sugar
1/4 tsp salt
1 egg
Half a large lemon or lemon juice
1/4 tsp almond extract
6tbsp melted butter
Cinnamon (optional)
Vanilla Icecream
How to make:
Preheat oven to 425 degrees and spray baking dish with nonstick cooking spray
In a small bowl combine sugar, flour, salt and egg and beat with a handheld mixer until fully combined and small clumps appear.
In a baking dish add the blackberries and combine with almond extract and lemon juice.
Add the small bowl mixture evenly onto the layer of blackberries. Following this, melted butter is poured directly on top and baked in the oven (or convection oven) for 25 to 30 min until golden brown.
Pair with your favorite vanilla ice cream and enjoy!
